As of January 1, 2024, Andrea Rubio, CPC, CPMA, will assume the newly refined and expanded Director of Business Operations position! In this enhanced role, Andrea will oversee the daily operations of the Front and Billing offices, Revenue Cycle Management, Information & Technology Systems (EMR/EPM coordination with Pima Dermatology’s network and IT partners, online patient engagement and phone systems, etc.), and co-lead business growth and development.
Throughout Andrea’s 11 years leading the Front and Billing Office departments, she has consistently exhibited outstanding professionalism, an exemplary work ethic, and a strong commitment to the practice’s success. As a nationally Certified Professional Medical Auditor, Andrea’s exacting research and planning skills, coupled with her approachable nature, are the perfect combination needed as she continues to lead effective cross-functional collaboration, strengthen overall operational effectiveness, and streamline all administrative operations.
Andrea will leverage Information & Technology Systems to enhance and improve our operational workflows and efficiency across the practice. Her experience with co-leading our transition from the NextGen EMR/EPM system to Modernizing Medicine’s EMA EMR & EPM platform and her experience with our phone systems and other tech platforms make her the ideal person to continue to explore and advocate for innovative solutions that will elevate overall practice performance.
Under her guidance, Andrea will continue Pima Dermatology’s commitment to foster an inclusive and collaborative work environment, one where everyone feels valued and encouraged to contribute their best.
