CoolSculpting®

CoolSculpting®, developed by Harvard scientists, is the #1 nonsurgical fat reduction treatment that is FDA-cleared to freeze stubborn fat. It is the treatment doctors use most for nonsurgical fat reduction. CoolSculpting can effectively reduce stubborn fat in areas that resist other weight-loss options. It is an innovative, nonsurgical way to contour your body safely and effectively.

This #1 doctor recommended, non-invasive fat reduction treatment is FDA-cleared to eliminate stubborn fat in 9 areas on the body:

  • Stubborn fat under the jawline, under the chin, the upper arms, back fat, bra fat, the flank area (love handles), abdomen, thighs, and under the buttocks (banana roll)
  • For most patients, two or more treatment sessions are recommended to reach their goals
  • It is a quick procedure with noticeable results in as few as three weeks.
  • Optimal results can be seen within 2 – 4 months.
  • It requires no incisions or anesthesia, with little to no downtime.

Who is an Ideal Candidate?

The ideal candidate for any CoolSculpting procedure is someone who is near their ideal body weight, but is struggling to get rid of stubborn fat (especially on their abdomens, flanks, and thighs). Candidates should already live a healthy lifestyle complete with regular exercise and a sensible diet. Although it does reduce the amount of fat cells, CoolSculpting is not a weight loss procedure.

How Much Does CoolSculpting® Cost?

Pricing varies and depends on the areas of concern, the number of sessions needed, and your ultimate goals. Our CoolSculpting Certified Team will create a customized treatment plan for you to reach your goals.

What Should be Expected During Treatment?

During your treatment, a gel pad or a gel applicator are applied to the targeted area. Applicators that use vacuum suction will draw the tissue into the applicator cup. Mild tugging, pulling, and/or pinching may be felt. Controlled cooling is then delivered to the targeted fat. An intensely cold sensation can occur, which usually subsides within 10 minutes as the area becomes numb. Our CoolSculpting Suite offers a quiet, comfortable space to relax in during the treatment. Patients may read or even take naps during their sessions. Afterward, patients are usually able to return to normal activities.

After the procedure, you may experience some redness, swelling, bruising, tingling, stinging and lingering numbness. Minor swelling, tenderness, skin sensitivity, mild to moderate pain, and muscle cramping can also occur.

When Will I See Results?

You may start to see changes in as early as three weeks after your CoolSculpting procedure, and will experience the most dramatic results after one to three months. Your body will continue to naturally process the damaged fat cells from your body for approximately four months after your procedure.

CoolSculpting results can last indefinitely, provided you eat healthy and exercise regularly. Results vary from person-to-person. You may decide that additional treatments are necessary to achieve your desired outcome.
