Christine R. Moussa, DO is a board-certified Dermatologist and Pediatric Dermatologist by the American Board of Dermatology and American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology. She joined Pima Dermatology in the fall of 2018 and is a native Tucsonan.
Dr. Moussa earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree at A.T. Still University, School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona, and was recognized as an Outstanding Student of her graduating class. She achieved academic honors in medical school through Sigma Sigma Phi Honor Society, Upsilon Chapter. She completed her Dermatology Residency at the Alta Dermatology Campus of Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Mesa, Arizona, where she focused on medical and surgical dermatology. After finishing residency, Dr. Moussa pursued subspecialty training in pediatric dermatology through a fellowship at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, training under nationally-recognized pediatric dermatologists, Ronald Hansen and Harper Price. Dr. Moussa is highly trained and qualified in all aspects of dermatology and offers complete, whole person dermatologic care for all ages, with a special interest in eczema, acne, and skin cancer.
Dr. Moussa has enjoyed presenting at numerous local and national conferences, including the World Congress of Pediatric Dermatology in Chicago, Illinois, the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona, the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology National Convention in Orlando, Florida, and the Phoenix Dermatologic Society in Phoenix, Arizona. She has contributed to various publications including the Journal of The American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, Dermatology Online, and The Consultant. She is a member of professional societies which include the American Academy of Dermatology, American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, Society for Pediatric Dermatology, American Osteopathic Association, Doctors for Global Health, and Tucson Community Pediatric Specialists.
Dr. Moussa aims to provide a compassionate, holistic and research-based approach to the care of her patients, approaching each patient as a unique individual with unique needs. She enjoys exploring integrative medicine practices and learning languages, such as Arabic and Spanish. Outside of the office, Dr. Moussa enjoys spending quality time with her husband and three children. Her interests include reading, traveling, singing, songwriting, and doing art projects with her kids.
