This year has been filled with exciting milestones for our practice. We welcomed new team members, including Dr. Amy Garcia, celebrated the well-deserved promotions of five outstanding teammates, and continued enhancing our facilities. It’s been a year of growth, innovation, and dreaming big on our little corner of Glenn Street!

Dr. Amy Garcia Joins Pima Dermatology: Welcoming Dr. Garcia to Pima Dermatology is such a bright spot for us! Originally from Santa Fe, New Mexico, Dr. Garcia is a board-certified dermatologist who earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of New Mexico. She completed her residency at the University of Arizona, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year of training. Specializing in General Dermatology, she brings a personable approach to patient care, further strengthening our ability to meet the evolving healthcare needs of our community. She is already generating a strong patient base – and many praises from happy patients thus far!
Klara® Patient Engagement: Fast-tracking for success (under 60 days), we integrated our new patient engagement platform, Klara, created to strengthen your connection with our practice. This innovative tool enables us to respond to your questions and requests quickly, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience. We now have texting capabilities and a “message us” button on our website for immediate access to our team!
Continued Investment in Our Team + Community: Our team is growing! We’ve increased our employee count by 30% across all departments, reinforcing our role as a key job creator in Tucson. We’re proud to contribute to the local economy while expanding our ability to serve the community.
We are also dedicated to continuous training for our Laser + Cosmetic and Medical Teams, ensuring they stay current on safety protocols, industry trends, and advancements in treatments. This year, Priscilla Rodriguez, RN, CANS, CLT, earned her CANS certification (Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist), joining Taylor Rock, MSN, RN, CANS, CLT in holding this esteemed credential. CANS certification recognizes nurses focused on education, clinical excellence, and professional growth, ensuring top-tier care for your cosmetic needs. This is a special niche too – there are only six in Tucson!
Additionally, we provide CPR training, Laser Safety updates, new injectable techniques, and other educational resources throughout the year. Between two advanced injectable trainings and ongoing CME courses for our Medical and Cosmetic providers, we’ve proudly invested $20,000 in staff education and development during Q4 alone!
Ongoing Facility Enhancements: We are committed to providing a beautiful and safe environment for both our patients and staff. As part of our growth, we are renovating two office spaces to add new exam rooms. Expect an expanded, state-of-the-art facility this month and into the new year!
Spring and Fall Cosmetic Event Weeks & Open Houses: We’re excited to celebrate the amazing success of our Spring and Fall Cosmetic Events this year! Hosting two Open Houses was a true highlight, as we welcomed both familiar faces and new friends to the practice. We’re incredibly grateful for our outstanding patients whose enthusiasm and support continue to inspire us. Thanks to you, we reached record-breaking milestones that exceeded all expectations.
